Privacy Policy

TailorMade Atelier (“TailorMade”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a bespoke tailoring atelier in Bangkok, Thailand. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information in connection with this website (the “Site”), our appointments and our tailoring services, in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (the “PDPA”).

We collect personal information in three ways.

• Information you give us. For example your name, email address, phone number, preferred atelier and date, and anything you tell us when you request an appointment, contact us or message us.
• Information we collect during a fitting. Body measurements, posture notes, style and fabric preferences, photographs taken with your permission, and order history, which we keep on file so that we can serve you well over time.
• Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit, gathered through cookies and similar technologies on the Site.

We use personal information to:

• Respond to enquiries and arrange consultations and fittings.
• Draft patterns, cut, fit and finish your garments, and keep records for future commissions.
• Send updates about your order and, with your consent, occasional news from the atelier.
• Operate, improve and secure the Site.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to understand how visitors use it. Essential cookies keep features such as forms and navigation working; analytics cookies, where used, help us see which pages are useful. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect parts of the Site.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site and our appointments. They process information on our behalf, under their own privacy practices.

• Google Maps. The embedded maps on our Contact page.
• Google Reviews. A widget that shows client reviews of our ateliers.
• Hosting and email delivery. Services that host the Site and deliver form notifications to our team.
• Messaging and social platforms. LINE, Facebook and Instagram, if you contact or follow us there.

Some of these providers may process information outside Thailand. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, with payment processors or banks when you settle a balance, with professional advisers where needed, and with authorities where the law requires it.

We keep client files, including measurements, fabric choices and order history, for as long as you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that returning clients can pick up where they left off. Appointment requests and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

• Give you access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, or restrict or object to how we use it.
• Withdraw a consent you have given, including consent to marketing messages.

Contact us as described below and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a data incident that affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Our services are intended for adults. Where a garment is made for a child, measurements are taken from, and details are given by, a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a minor without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
